Jody grew up on a cow-calf operation in the small farming community of Fisher Branch, Manitoba. As a youth, she was an active member in the local 4-H Club. When she completed 4-H, she was selected as a 4-H Ambassador. In 2002, Jody participated in the W. Garfield Weston Foundation 4-H UK Exchange, where she traveled to the rural United Kingdom to experience agriculture and resources abroad. While attending the University of Manitoba, Jody studied Agriculture and competed in varsity Track and Field. She went on to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002, where she graduated, with distinction, with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. After graduation, Jody was an Associate Veterinarian in a mixed animal practice for 4 years. In 2010, Jody decided the time was right to begin a mobile, large animal practice; which has grown into a full service, mixed animal practice. Jody is an avid hockey player, golfer, swimmer and bicyclist who participates in triathlons. Jody's passion for beef cattle and farming is apparent when she tells you all about her personal herd and of her family's farming legacy. She shares her home with her Standard Poodle, Tam.
Hannah grew up in the small town of Cawston, BC on a hobby farm with her parents and three younger sisters. Hannah enjoyed playing a variety of sports, many outdoor activities and volunteering around her community. After graduating high school, she attended Alcorn State University in Mississippi, where she played 4 years of Division 1 softball on scholarship and completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Hannah attended the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, graduating in the Class of 2021. Dr Vesper recently married her guy, Tanner and they share a home with their 2 dogs, Meeka and Freyja.
Danni grew up in Chilliwack, BC then went to Saskatchewan to complete her DVM from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. During vet school, she took the opportunity to participate in several programs, including a dairy program at Cornell University and an equine reproduction rotation in Texas. After graduating from WCVM in 2016, Dannie completed an internship in large animal theriogenology (reproduction). She practiced large animal medicine and surgery in rural Saskatchewan for 3 more years before moving home to Chilliwack. After practicing in the Fraser Valley for a few years, she and her herd moved up to Prince George! She enjoys working on dairy and beef cattle, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats and a bunch more wild and wacky critters.
Danni's favourite thing to do is deliver babies of all shapes and sizes. She would do it all day long if she could!
